With advance notice, they can pick you up at the airport. KBFI BOEING FIELD INT'L SEATTLE WA Misc -- Marriott Courtyard Lake Union - nice area - trail around lake - lots of restaurants. Rent kayaks or sailboats close by. Food -- Randy's on the southwest side of BFI. Good food, endless coffee and "spirited" waitresses. Misc -- If you want to go look at old airplanes, The Museum of Flight is across the field and Galvin will run you over. KEAT PANGBORN MEMORIAL WENATCHEE WA Food -- Restaurant in main terminal has odd operating hours. Not always open when it should be. FBOs -- Wenatchee Jet Center has two courtesy cars; can sometimes take one overnight. KPSC TRI-CITIES PASCO WA Hotels -- Stay at the Red Lion... Sam prices typically as the Best Western next door, but rooms are nicer and bigger. Also has a bar and restaurant on site KSEA SEATTLE-TACOMA INTL SEATTLE WA Misc -- Crab pot. Local sea food. Awesome Food -- Red mill burgers. Some of the best in the world Food -- Across the street from the airport - on Hwy. 99 (aka "International Blvd.") - is a 24-hour restaurant called 13 Coins. Probably the best restaurant by far within a 10-mile radius of the airport, and has many downtown restaurants beat as well. I've been eating there for years, and have yet to have a bad food or service experience. You can sit at a table, or the chef's line and watch them cook for you, and they have live music (usually jazz) in the evenings. I would say it's about a 10-14 minute walk from the airport...be careful crossing streets, as it's on a majoy thruway, but definitely check this out between layovers or when you get "bored". -SL KTIW TACOMA NARROWS TACOMA WA Food -- The Narrows Landing Resaurant is located mid-field and has good food for a reasonable cost. |
