Also, there's a neat store called Workshop Tools there. 10 min drive Food -- Ellendale's Restaurant is a must stop for a superb lunch. I promise you will be amazed at the lunch you get for the price. If you go in the evening it costs a little more but there is live music. You may want to get reservations if you go for dinner. JM (corporate pilot) KCHA LOVELL FIELD CHATTANOOGA TN Misc -- There is a Starbucks about 5 min south with the crew car. Also a Harbor Freight Tools which is always good for killing about :45 and bucks on cheap tools and gadgets you didn't even know you needed until you see Historic -- Lookout Mountain. Incline Railway and Ruby Falls. An 150' waterfall under about 1100' of rock. Trek through a cave for about 30 mins to get to it. Wonderful sight Misc -- Tennessee Aquarium - very nice aquarium to spend the day right on the river. Costs about , but it is a nice place to spend most of the day. Historic -- Inlcine Railway - If you have the day, ride the incline to the top of Lookout Mountain. Food -- Rib & Loin - Great BBQ close to airport (Other post calls it Pork & Loin) Food -- Bar-B-Q: good local bar b q at "Pork & Loin", it is very close to the airport Misc -- In town there are many good restaurants from pizza and pasta to steak and sea food. Chatanooga is a great city with lots of fun stuff to do. Not such a bad place to get stuck at! KCKV OUTLAW FIELD CLARKSVILLE TN Misc -- The new temp terminal is better than the old and the tajmahal terminal will be done Dec 2011. The county took over FBO Opps and for the better. They have a crew car and you can also sighn out the GPS with the crew car too so you can really explore. Town is VERY expansive so take the GPS. Oh my fav place to eat is "Raffertys" never had a bad meal. Mike is the "man" at the FBO he will take care of you. Cheap Jet A. Misc -- this place is sick...no one's around good food downtown if you have a car KGKT GATLINBURG-PIGEON FORGE SEVIERVILLE TN Food -- Wonderful food & atmosphere at Kinkatsu japanese steak houose on 441. Pedicure next door. you'll be in heaven!!! KMBT MURFREESBORO MUNI MURFREESBORO TN Food -- City Cafe is a great place for breakfast. Nostalgic & excellent southern food at good prices. Also, Jim & Nick's BBQ was good, but more pricey. Misc -- Toot's - great local wings/burgers joints - unfortunately no crew cars at airport KMEM MEMPHIS INTL MEMPHIS TN Food -- Food -- Tom's BBQ!! Oh WOW. Wilson Air has a map at the desk. 5 minutes away. Food -- You should try Brother Juniper's in Memphis. Best breakfast I've had in town. Food -- Blue Plate Cafe for breakfast. Good food, great staff. Misc -- The Gibson Guitar Factory is pretty cool to check out if you're into music at all. They have guided tours that last about 45 minutes where you can see the entire process of both electric and acoustic guitars being hand built. Tour cost about -. It located downtown near Sun Records. Lee Ave Memphis, TN 38103 Food -- THE original Corky's is a short ride away---everybody always talks about Rendezvous but Corkys is excellent Misc -- South Haven is a great place to stay if you want to get out of MEM. Its a 15 min easy drive and has a lot of restaurants and hotels and shopping. Great place if you are not interested in Memphis. Historic -- Civil Rights Museum - a very detailed and elaborate collection of stories, photos, videos etc from our nation's history. the tour ends in the hotel room that MLK Jr. was assinated in. Food -- The obvious place I can say you have to go experience is Rendezvous! The best ribs I have ever had - bar none. Turn left out onto Sam ridley off of the airport road. Its a few miles down road before getting to interstate. Misc -- Try Cheddar's Casual Cafe, 955 Industrial Blvd, Smyrna, TN 37167 http://www.cheddars.com/. It's just 5 minutes from the FBO. Take Sam Riddley SW from the airport and it's at the end of the main drag, right turn at the last traffic light before you reach the interstate. Excelent food and great prices. Try the Honey Dijon Chicken with Button Mushrooms. You'll be drooling for a week. Google Map http://tiny.cc/M5ci3 shows the land before construction.
