KAKR AKRON FULTON INTL AKRON OH FBOs -- Summit Air did a great job! There wasn't a crew car available so they let me drive a personal car up to StarBucks. Great service all around. Good Job KAOH ALLEN COUNTY LIMA OH Historic -- Neil Armstrong Museum 10 min. south on I75. Small, but really good. KBJJ WAYNE COUNTY WOOSTER OH Misc -- wall mart and grocery stores within 10 minutes of airport. Lots of places to eat including panera bread, long horns, apple bees, starbucks, chipoltel, jakes steak joint. KCMH PORT COLUMBUS INTL COLUMBUS OH FBOs -- Awesome service & cute CSR'S!! Sports -- Airport golf course is off the east side of the airport on Hamilton Rd., north of FlightSafety. KDAY JAMES M COX DAYTON INTL DAYTON OH Sports -- There are several great gun stores in the area. Vandalia guns, and Old English guns have a great selecton, and plenty of stuff to drool over. KFDY FINDLAY FINDLAY OH Food -- grab the crew car and go to The Fern Cafe for Lunch. Great meatloaf sandwich. Tell Gus, you say "Hi". KLCK RICKENBACKER INT'L COLUMBUS OH FBOs -- AirNet Systems INC. Fuel prices are great for JetA! KLPR LORAIN CO REGIONAL LORAIN OH Food -- Moosehead- good food selection & excellent barbque KLUK LUNKEN FIELD INT'L CINCINNATI OH Food -- If you like German food - Hofbrauhaus is great. Awesome food and own brewery. If overnight on the weekend, Sat nights they have a german band and people dance on top of the stools. Great fun. KOSU OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY COLUMBUS OH Misc -- watching the snow melt KTOL TOLEDO EXPRESS TOLEDO OH Misc -- Surf the web. InOtherNerds.com, ESPN, and youTube. Food -- Have the line guys drop you off at Charlies for some good, greasy breakfast. Hard to beat. KYNG YOUNGSTOWN MUNICIPAL YOUNGSTOWN OH Misc -- Mall within 10 minutes drive. Lots of places to eat and Target to get aircraft stock. Regal Cinema and Stores also next to mall. Food -- Coming home from camping in Oshkosh we landed here to avoid thunderstorms. The crew car is nice and brothers piZza is yummy :) happy flying!-kat |
