Only two FBO's and Crossroads Aviation (chicken coop) is small and does not offer anything but unprofessionalism and impoliteness. Some construction on the field high hopes that it is halfway decent service center. BIG THUMBS DOWN! FBOs -- watch for tornatic activity KDLH DULUTH INTL DULUTH MN Hotels -- Stay at Fitgers Hotel. Great hotel with a brew pub attached. Misc -- Cirrus factory. Give them a call, and you should be able to arrange a tour. KFCM FLYING CLOUD MINNEAPOLIS MN Hotels -- Great Hotels at Mall of America KMSP MINNEAPOLIS ST PAUL INT'L MINNEAPOLIS MN Hotels -- Embassy Suites gives a great rate to Signature. A little noise on the airport side though... its that close... Misc -- Go to the Mall of America - 5 minutes from Signature Misc -- FORT Snelling Club is adjacent to the SE side of the airport and has great food and cheap drinks. CHEERS! Food -- Chammps Sports bar and grill. Great hamburgers and fun atmosphere. 10 min. from Airport. KSTP ST PAUL DOWNTOWN ST PAUL MN Food -- Lunch/Breakfast: there is a grill about 2 miles from the airport on robert street. they have the typical grease pit breakfast, the pizza & grillfood for lunch |
