It was about a person and not the best I have had. I would probably not go back. Crab legs were good but expensive. FBOs -- Signatue will lend you a mountain bike and there is a trail that goes around the airport, it is about 11 miles long. If you have a longer layover you can actually take the trail to Annapolis. Goto http://www.bikewashington.org/routes/bwi/index.htm to look at the map and get more info. KDMW CARROLL COUNTY REGIONAL WESTMINSTER MD Food -- Bud's Silver Run is a great place to eat. Upscale food in historic bldg. Dinners run -25. Much better than most other places in EMI. KESN EASTON/NEWNAM FIELD EASTON MD Historic -- If you have some to kill, go to St. Micheal's or Oxford. These two quaint little towns are on the water. You have a museam there is very worth while in St. Michaels. Also great seafood resturaunts. KFDK FREDERICK MUNI FREDERICK MD none -- Check out Wags! The burgers and chili are bomb! KHGR HAGERSTOWN RGNL HAGERSTOWN MD Hotels -- Springhill Suites (Marriott) was a good choice. Nice rooms, good comp breakfast. They give a discount to Rider customers. Hard to find 6 miles down the road (I-81) near something called Valley Mall. FBOs -- Rider Jet Center has an amazing facility with huge flat screen displays. Great snooze rooms and comfortable recliners. Nap away my friends. Food -- Nick's Airport Inn is a great restaurant right on the edge of the airport. Super lunch specials! Be sure to try their crab cakes and get the homemade tapioca pudding for dessert. Too far to walk from passenger terminal side but it's only a 1/2 mile from Rider Jet Center. KMTN MARTIN STATE BALTIMORE MD Food -- Take the crew van 2 minutes to Carson's Creekside restaurant & lounge. On the water dining with good food and view. Just watch the boats go by. - lunch entre plus... KSBY WICOMICO CO. REGIONAL SALISBURY MD Hotels -- Stayed at the Hampton Inn. Nice rooms for a reasonable rate. Nearby restaurants within walking distiance include Ruby Tues, Uno's Pizza, Texas Roadhouse, Sonic, and a chineese place. |
