Cheap ---- py beer(Old Style,Hamms,Miller High Life on draft), decent menu, great service. Food -- Headed to Skip's for lunch. Sposedly THE place. Get a table by 1115 the car sez. Food -- Quizno's is right accross the street from signature KIOW IOWA CITY MUNI IOWA CITY IA Hotels -- The Alexis Park Inn is right next to Rwy 25 in Iowa City. It's America's only aviation theme-suite hotel, and is chock-full of aviation artwork and memorabilia, including a 250 volume aviation library and a full-sized flight simulator that you can fly for FREE. Each suite is decorated to reflect a different era of aviaton history, from the Wright Brothers to the Reno Air Races. They have 16 hot tub suites, and great pilot discounts. |
