Expect to pay per, but well worth it. Food -- There's a Hooter's barely a mile from Dassault. The scenery there is not as good as a Louisville or Tampa location, but it's much better than a Newport Beach or Chicago Hooters. Misc -- Main Street in Newark, DE (about 7 miles west of ILG) has numerous restaurants, bars, and stores. I recommend that location of the Iron Hill brewery as well, Klondike Kate's, Deer Park Tavern, and Home Grown Cafe. Newark is the location of the University of Delaware, with 19,000 students. So I'm going to have to dispute the "eye candy" comment. And there's a great college town vibe. Food -- Mikimoto's on Washington Street has the best sushi I've had on the east coast, and Iron Hill Brewery's got a great selection on tap. Unfortunately no eye candy anywhere in Delaware. At all. Ever. |
